“Blending In” is a story about the desire to belong to a community. Belonging to the wrong community comes with feelings of confusion, anxiety, and uncertainty. The question of whether the community is the right choice remains unanswered. This fashion story was inspired by a young boy who moved to Berlin in an attempt to prosper his creativity but got lost in the party scene. He says “People there don’t want to leave the club because they don’t want to get home and be lonely.”
