Originally From Bucharest, Romania, he moved to Vienna as a teenager. In his visual worlds, Dobre concentrates on the field of tension between art, fashion and the Viennese queer Scene. The focus is on the desire to make the extraordinary tangible in perceptions and moments. This story was inspired by Les Misérables’ main character Fatine, who gives up her teeth to make money for her daughter. As we age, we trade our youth for responsibilities and our beauty for consumerism.
